2 down...1 to go

I saw this post on Lisa Truesdell's blog and showed Elise. I told her I would make her one, so she didn't let me forget. She bugged me about her "special bag" for 2 days. So the other night I stayed up and made it for her as a surprise.

I just love this picture. I knew that she would try to carry as much in it as she could, so I decided against the pattern fabric straps and opted for the sturdier canvas ones. Although the fabric is awfully cute.

and of course I couldn't make her one without making Landon one. He asked for one as soon as he saw hers. So...the next night I stayed up making him one as a surprise. Luckily the 2nd time was MUCH quicker especially since I didn't have to look up what "bottom the bag out" was. I had no idea that's what it was called...now I do!

Cohen won't bug me until I make his...I have a couple of years, but I think I'll make him one tonight while I'm in a sewing mood. Otherwise I may never get around to it.

I think they'll make great church bags...perfect size for a picture bible, a snack and some art supplies.
