Can I take one of these back to Oregon with me?

These trees are in full bloom right now down here. I guess they bloom in the fall also, but it's not as impressive...must not be because I didn't notice it. There's one just down the block from us and basically anywhere you go right now.

I had to look them up to see what they were, and it looks like they grow where it's warm. Well, that explains why I've never seen one in Oregon. Aren't they beautiful though? I want one...or two.

We have about 5 weeks left down here and I'm trying to take pictures of things down here that we do, that we'll miss, our house. I want to make the kids a book or an album all about our time in California because they're so little they probably won't remember much if anything.

1. our neighborhood. The trees. The houses. The white picket fences. The lady with the Robin's egg blue fence and door that I love. The tire swing, the Catholic church down the road, the park right next to it with the giant palm tree. Just little things about it make it really comfortable and something I'll really miss. When we move we'll probably settle out of town, but there's something to be said for living in a really nice neighborhood that you don't get from living in the country.

I'll do another "I miss" another day and some layouts too. I have a couple I finished last week and just haven't gotten around to photographing. Today is not the day to try and get pictures though...it's cloudy and rainy but I'm enjoying it thoroughly. A rainy day down here doesn't happen a lot and I'm not complaining!

Have a great day!
