{less than 2 weeks}

It looks like we'll be able to move after 5pm on September first. Not as soon as I had planned, but everything happens for a reason and honestly? It probably taught me a good lesson on patience. I've been holding off on looking and buying anything for the house until we're in, but I may have to peek and get get some paint samples this week. maybe. ; )

It's on my sidebar, but I really like this blog. I love her style and I think I'm going to do a really neutral color theme through the house like that. I love the white/cream look. That way I can add color with things I can change out easily. I don't like to paint walls, so once I do it that's it. Not ever again. Ha!

We've been keeping busy school shopping for uniforms. Not nearly as much fun as buying regular clothes. I've had to buy so much non fun stuff that I'm going to have to wait on their fall/winter stuff until it starts getting cooler. I don't really know how much they'll need since they won't be wearing it during school. 

also keeping busy with the new puppy...Quincey. She's such a cutie, but I'll be glad when the puppy stage is over. So...2 years?! heheee. Actually she's been a lot easier than I thought. She's been really easy to pottytrain as long as we take her out right when she goes to the door and barks or whines at us. She's usually just a little teddy bear and the kids adore her. So far she's fitting in really well and I have to admit I like having her around. Me. the not so much dog person.

I guess that's enough rambling, so I'll leave you with a couple of pages from KP's skechbook 2 class I never posted. I did another one last night that I really like, but I'll save that one for tomorrow.

this one I don't love, but I guess that's ok. I don't have to love every page I make, right? I do love the pictures and the message though. I might like it more if I could get it to photograph well, but for some reason I just couldn't. It's really not that dark in person...or blurry. ; )
