It looks like we'll be in the new house in the next couple of weeks...or less! Our appraisal was yesterday and we have one more thing to turn in for the loan. We also have to remove the old wood stove that's in the house this weekend...I shouldn't say "we" should I? heheee. Pat and his brothers will be doing that and then the appraiser has to go back in to make sure it was done. We weren't planning on using it anyway, but apparently it's against code, so it has to go before closing.
I'm taking Kelly Purkey's sketchbook2 class right now. I was all set to sign up until I realized that all my scrapbooking stuff was in storage. hmm...didn't think that one through. Luckily I have a nice hubby and he offered to help me find it. Couple of trips back to the storage units and we managed to find it all.
I'm a sketch behind...or I guess 2 since I'll get the third one in the morning, but I'm hoping to catch up this weekend. I didn't actually find all my stuff until yesterday and I started last night after the nightowls finally crashed...(the younger two have decided sleeping isn't fun anymore. sigh.)
Here's my take on the first sketch. I love these photos of Cohen. I remember buying that suit for him before we took our trip up to Oregon last fall. It was still warm in Cali, so putting that on him made me laugh since we were still wearing shorts. hehee. I know he thought I was a crazy mommy for dressing him like an eskimo. and he did end up wearing it on the trip, so not wasted!
mmm....off to hang out with Pat and enjoy a carmel sundae. night!
