I knew things couldn't go perfectly. geesh.
There's an old oil tank in the backyard that needs to be removed of and disposed of properly along with soil tests and anything else the DEQ requires. To me it just means a longer wait, but they are going to take care of it, so that's good. We're still hoping to close by the original date of August 30, but praying that we can get in sooner.
I haven't been able to take my own pictures, but here's a picture from the real estate website. I love how private and secluded it is for being in town. Best of both worlds. : )
For some good news...there's been a thunder storm brewing all week and I'm hoping it happens tonight. It's a nice relief to have some cooler weather for a change.
It's also the first night of the local fair, so we're taking our chances and taking the kids out for a night on the town. They've never ridden the rides before, so we're going to let them do that. Me? I go for the curly fries and the floppy eared goats. : )
