What spring break looks like this year.

This was spring break last year.

This is how our spring break started.

Luckily it melted and since then it's just been chilly and windy.
I've kicked the kids outside when I can, but we've still been inside a lot
and I'm running low on activities and patience.

We're keeping entertained with 6 chickies. They're much bigger now...I need to take a new picture. Most of them have feathers now.

We went to the Museum to see the butterfly exhibit. Landon wasn't supposed to touch the butterflies, but somehow they would magically just land on his finger. roll eyes.  He loved it there and one actually did land on him, but I was out chasing Cohen and I missed it.

 They were less than thrilled to stand next to the cougar, but I made them anyway. Creeeepy.

They have mostly just been playing a lot. I forget that Landon is at school all day and he actually likes being home and being able to play with his toys. He's my homebody...a boy after my own heart. He's also been reading a chapter book to me every day and doing some schoolwork every afternoon. It's my small attempt at seeing what homeschooling would be like. Something I've been thinking about a lot lately.

I found a color and painted the boy's room and I'm going to paint the trim this week. I am actually really happy with the color on the first try. I think that's a first! I picked this color.

That's it for today. Off to entertain kids and try to check a couple more things off of my to do list. Which btw is NEVERENDING with 3 kids at home. I feel like I've picked up the same toys 3758475937493794 times this week.
